PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Portsmouth could see snow tonight before precipitation turns over to rain, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The light snow will fall on the region later tonight, starting around 7 p.m., according to The Weather Channel’s website. The snow will turn into rain around 3 a.m., according to the NWS.
Portsmouth could see up to 1 to 2 inches of snow before the changeover.
The morning commute Monday could be a slow one with some leftover snow and icy spots. Drivers should use caution and allow for extra time Monday morning.
