PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — A Portsmouth resident caught coyotes hunting in his neighborhood only days before a coyote caused a major traffic jam on West Main Road.
Jake Dauphin posted the following video on YouTube Sunday. The footage was shot Saturday night on Anson Road, which is located off East Main Road near the U.S. Post Office. The video was posted to illustrate an increase in coyotes in the area.
“This was the third night in a row that they were out and active,” wrote Mike Dauphin.
These coyotes were filmed only days before a coyote was struck on West Main Road, resulting in 2 motor vehicle crashes.
