PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Sydney, an Australia-inspired café located in Downtown Providence, will open two new locations, including one in Portsmouth this November. Find out the exact address here.
Sydney Portsmouth will be a freestanding building in the style of an Australian country home. Both new cafés in Portsmouth and Cranston will offer a menu and experience consistent with the Providence store.
While the company previously could not reveal the address, Sydney recently confirmed the new cafe will be located at 1408 West Main Road (the current Subway location).
The new spaces will continue Sydney’s coastal-modern aesthetic of white marble, wide plank hardwood flooring, and designer furniture. Both will feature large communal tables and ample outdoor seating.
Planned menu additions include made-to-order smoothie bowls, plant-based noodles, and new grab-and-go and pastry selections, including additional vegan and gluten-free bakery items.
The enhanced footprint will allow Sydney’s catering business, geared at both private celebrations and corporate events, to serve a much larger area. Sydney’s catering menu features breakfast, lunch, beverages, and premium baked goods. The expansion will also enable the roll-out of improved service options, including mobile ordering.
Sydney’s Providence location at 400 Exchange Street is open daily from 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am to 5 pm on weekends. For more information, visit sydneypvd.com.
