PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Meet Roscoe, our adoptable dog of the week. Roscoe, a terrier mix, is currently available for adoption at the Potter League for Animals.
Roscoe is male and approximately 12 years old. From the Potter League:
Say helloooo to Roscoe. This older gentleman is currently in search of a home to retire comfortably with a family who loves him. He’s a fun-sized little guy that still has a lot of spunk. Roscoe has some medical issues that we are addressing and is scheduled for surgery next week to repair his bilateral perineal hernias (say that 10x fast). He will also need a dental after he recovers from his first surgery and will be neutered as well, all of which the Potter League will be covering. However, how great would it be if he could recover from his surgeries in the comfort of a warm, loving & cozy home with the love and care of his new family? There are a lot of memories that Roscoe wants to make with a new family. He would love to explore the famous beaches of New England and do all sorts of retirement-like things, ya know, like uhh nap? Maybe travel some. Who knows, the world his Roscoe’s oyster! But most importantly, he just wants to be the first face you see when you come home at the end of a long day. Roscoe would prefer to be your one and only dog love, and he has no experience with cats that we are aware of. So if you have a nice warm lap just begging for a sweet little occupant like Roscoe, come on by the Potter League for Animals and visit him today! He just can’t wait to meet you.
