The Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 7 p.m. on Wednesday to 7 a.m. on Thursday.
The following Winter Weather Advisory was posted on the NWS website:
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM EST
* WHAT…Snow. Total snow accumulations of around 2 to 4 inches
expected. Locally higher amounts possible mainly along and north
of the Massachusetts Turnpike.
* WHERE…Portions of central, eastern, northeastern and
southeastern Massachusetts and northern and southern Rhode
* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Thursday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
