PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Portsmouth police arrested a Middletown man on Tuesday in connection with vandalism discovered at 15 Point Road Restaurant in Portsmouth.
On Tuesday, March 12, at 7:35 p.m., Lino Loyola was taken into custody by the Middletown Police on a Portsmouth affidavit arrest warrant.
A warrant was secured on March 6, for Loyola, who is believed to be the person responsible for the breaking and entering, larceny, and vandalism of 15 Point Road Restaurant.
Chief Thomas Lee wishes to thank members of the public for their tips in this case along with the Middletown and Tiverton Police Departments for their assistance with this investigation.
Loyola, 55, of 4B Buck Road, Middletown, will be arraigned at the 2nd District Court in Newport later in the morning on the charge of breaking and entering a business or public building with felony intent.
