PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — U.S. Marshals and State Police arrested a Portsmouth man on Wednesday on child molestation charges.
On Wednesday, March 27, at 6:25 a.m., U.S. Marshals and State Police Fugitive Task Force executed a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Jess Roderiques, 55, of 518 Turnpike Ave., Portsmouth, at his home, where he was taken into custody.
The investigation began in March 2018 by the Portsmouth Police Detective Division. The charges stem from Roderiques allegedly inappropriately touching a child in Portsmouth in the summer of 2010.
Roderiques was charged with three counts of second-degree child molestation. He was arraigned in Superior Court Wednesday morning. Bail was set at $25, 000 with surety.
