Post Prom seeks volunteers, donations

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The Portsmouth High School Class of 2019 needs your help with the Post Prom Party.

On June 5, the PHS Class of 2019 will celebrate their Senior Prom. Following the prom, from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., a Post Prom Party will be held at the Glen Manor House.

The goal is to provide children with an enjoyable and safe place to be on prom night. This event is parent-sponsored and has been very successful over the past years.

In fact, last year, 90% of the seniors that attend Prom also attended the Post Prom Party. The success of this party depends upon parent volunteers—lots of them (you don’t have to be the parent of a senior).

The cost of this event is funded 100% through donations from parents, local businesses, and community groups. If you would like to donate prize items or make a monetary donation to buy prizes, please send your donation to the PHS main office, attention Post Prom.
