Newport Polo Club to hold benefit match this weekend
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The Newport Polo Club will host the 29th annual charity match to benefit the Rotary Club of Newport and local 501-c-3 organizations to kick-off the summer season this weekend.
The match takes place on on Saturday, May 25, at 5 p.m.
Tickets are sold by the Newport Rotary Club at the entry gates ($10/adult, kids 12 & under free) on game day. Advanced ticket sales are available from the participating organizations below (follow a link to support your favorite). 100% of proceeds from ticket sales will support the participating civic & charitable organizations.
The classic 6-chukker match will begin at 5pm, featuring local teams competing. Entry gates will open at 4pm. The event is open to the public, taking place at the International Polo Grounds at Glen Farm, 250 Linden Lane, Portsmouth, RI. All are welcome to attend.

Organizations are invited to plan a day at polo for their supporters, hosted by Newport Polo at the International Polo Grounds. Opportunities to participate are open to qualified 501-3c organizations. Two benefit matches are scheduled for this purpose this year: May 25 and July 14. Download the guidelines to participate Here. Through its 29 year history, Newport Polo has raised over $1,400,000 for civic and charitable organizations. Initiatives include the International Polo Charity Ball, special benefit matches, and countless ticket donations for the Newport International Polo Series.
