MIDDLETOWN, R.I. — The Norman Bird Sanctuary presents “Studying the Huddle: Penguin Behavior & Climate Change” this week. Find out how to attend here.

This event for adults, age 21 and older, takes place Thursday, Jan. 16, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Norman Bird Sanctuary.

The mysterious behaviors of penguins are not only captivating, but also important in understanding the state of the southern hemisphere. Daniel Zitterbart, Ph.D., of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution will guide you through an illustrated talk focused on Emperor penguins and what their huddling behaviors can tell us about climate change.

Wine, beer, and dessert will be served.
