Coyote mating season is upon us and from late-December to mid-March coyotes are locked in a territorial battle for the right to breed. Coyotes become more territorial and hungry during these months.

While coyote attacks on people are very rare, pets are not so lucky. Those that are small or elderly are especially at risk.
