The design of the shade on this Lotus Pagoda Library Lamp (circa 1904) was inspired by the large, sculptural leaf of the lotus or water lily. The translucent striated green glass and lead lines perfectly mimic the leaf’s complex network of veins. See it for yourself when you visit the exhibition “Tiffany Glass: Painting with Color and Light,” at Rosecliff through February 29. This exhibition is organized by The Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass
