Info Released About Portsmouth Senior Center Meals Distribution

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is working diligently to put a sustainable and effective plan in place for boxed lunch deliveries for Senior Center sites.

They spoke to their caterer and they advised us that they have the capacity to produce 50 meals for each site.

These meals are for 60 or disabled. Delivery is not available to homes.

All Portsmouth participants must pick up lunches at the Portsmouth Senior Center 110 Bristol Ferry Rd at noon. Call ahead to see if they are ready.

They need to still ask for a suggested donation of $3 in order to sustain the program, as this plan may need to continue for a month or two. All new meal sites participants are required to complete a Personal Information Form (PIF); this can be done over the phone.

Meals need to be made with a 24 hour reservation.  Participants can call Cynthia (Director-Portsmouth Senior Center)at 401-683-4106.  If no answer, call (401) 297-6102.
