VIDEO: Houses of Worship to Reopen With Restrictions

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Governor Gina M. Raimondo and Nicole Alexander-Scott, MD, MPH, the Director of the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH), recently announced houses of worship can reopen with restrictions. 

Houses of worship: The governor announced that houses of worship, when they begin reopening the weekend of May 30th, will be limited to 25% of their overall capacity. This decision was made in consultation with faith leaders across Rhode Island.
