PORTSMOUTH, R.I. \u2014 The town of Portsmouth recently issued its eighth Supplemental Emergency Declaration. All supplemental orders are now extended through July 4, 2020.\n\nFrom the town of Portsmouth:\nThis is an Emergency Declaration supplement to the Portsmouth Executive Order 2020-1 issued March 16, 2020.COVID-19 continues to spread globally. For the protection of the health of the people of Rhode Island and the further prevention of the spread of COVID-19, and pursuant to the Rhode Island General Laws and the Town of Portsmouth Emergency Operations Plan, including but not limited to Title 30, Chapter 15 of the General Laws, I do hereby order and direct the following:1.Executive Order 2020-01 issued on March 16, 2020 and all supplemental orders are extended through July 4th, 2020.\n\nORDERED this 4th day of June 2020.\nKevin M.
